That was the only season he was bottom tier. In s3 he became lower mid. In s4 mid tier. Now he's top 5. He might even be top 1. He got a ton of bs buffs that he didn't need at all but are there now and make him a real problem. One of the buffs i wanted on vs2 was the target combo.

But it was st mp, st hp, vs2. Not the full thing. It does way too much damage for no meter, builds v gauge and gives him really good oki. It's busted. Both his vts buffs are busted.

Tatsu hitting crouchers is busted. Hes insane. He's easily the best shoto in the game right now and very likely the best character in the game by a wide margin and people are acting like he's just mid tier. Even saw some idiot on eventhubs say he's only lower mid tier. These are the people crying non stop about ryu. They're morons who cannot comprehend what these buffs and nerfs do to a character but they'll be loud about wanting them and how their character sucks because their helmet is too tight.

Ryu is sss tier. Enjoy him now because he'll be nerfed soon.
